What do I pay for shipping?
We pay the shipping on Free shipping purchases as long as you live in the continental United States. Please see our shipping information on each product page for further details. Free shipping is based on order size and will be USPS or Fedex ground services with estimated shipping time of 5-7 business days from order date.

How is my order shipped?
You may choose your shipping meathod and see rates at checkout. We ship your "Free Shipping" purchase via standard "ground service" which means that once your order is shipped it will generally take five to seven business days. Please keep in mind that all our products are shipped directly from our warehose or manufacturers to your door. Depending on the size of the items purchased, we will use either Federal Express, UPS, or in the case of larger items a freight company.

How long does it take to ship my order?
It depends on the particular product you order. Most Lifejackets ship the same day (before 12:00 pm EST) or ONE BUSINESS day after your purchase. If your item is out of stock or delayed, we will notify you via email.

How do I pay for my order?

Can I pay by check?
Yes, send us an e-mail explaining what you'd like to order. We will then send you an invoice that you can pay. We will wait until your check clears the bank before we ship. If you require that your order be processed more quickly, send us a certified check or money order and we will enter your order immediately.

Do you accept COD orders?
We cannot accept COD orders. All orders must be paid in full prior to delivery.

How do I know that my order has been received and that it is correct?
We will confirm your order by e-mail. Please carefully check that all of the information on the order is correct including shipping address, phone number, products ordered, quantities, and sizes of all of the items. If there are any errors, please notify us immediately. Here is how it works:
1. Complete your order on SafeLifeJackets.com.
2. We will charge your credit card and submit your order to shipping department. We will send you an email confirming your order and provide you with an order reference number.
3. When your order ships, we will send you an email with a scheduled delivery date along with a tracking number to track your package via UPS or Federal Express. A tracking link will not be included with USPS shipments
4. At any time you can contact a customer response specialist who can answer questions about your order.

If I order more than one item, will they all arrive at the same time?
Our manufacturers ship from different factories. Some products are made up of multiple components that come from different shipping points. These components may arrive on different days.

Will you ever have back orders?
Although most of our products are shipped quickly sometimes an item you order will temporarily be out of stock. If it is, we will notify you via e-mail. We will let you know when the item is expected to be back in stock. We will also provide the option of canceling your order or allowing us to ship it when it is back in stock. It's up to you.

Can I return my purchase?
We are certain that you will be pleased with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return it for a refund within seven (7) days of the receipt of your order. We must authorize all returns prior to shipping. Please e-mail us prior to shipping and we will provide a Return Authorization Number along with shipping instructions. Returned items must be shipped to us in their original condition and packaging within 90 days of receipt. We recommend that packages be sent back with UPS ground or FedEx ground.
However, you may use the carrier of your choice. All returns should be insured for the value of the returned item(s). No returns will be accepted C.O.D. The cost of "Free Shipping" is not refundable and will be deducted from the amount of your refund. Some manufacturers require a restocking charge. We will make every effort to keep this to a minimum. SafeLifeJackets will email you a Return Authorization Acceptance (RAA) email that details your total credit. The RAA will be issued upon completion of an inspection of your returned item(s). What happens if the product is damaged during shipping?
Our products are packaged in such a manner that they will arrive at your home in almost all cases without damage. In rare occasions, shipping damage may occur. If your order arrives damaged, please accept the order and make a notation on the freight bill that there was damage. Please then e-mail us so that we can make any necessary arrangements.

Do I pay a sales tax on my purchase?
As a California business, we must add applicable sales tax to your order if you are located in the state of California. If you live outside of California, you are responsible for complying with any applicable sales taxes in the state in which you live.

How do I know that the color I see on screen is accurate?
Every computer monitor displays colors slightly differently. If the colors you see on screen don't look the same as they do in real life, try adjusting your monitor's brightness and contrast, or refer to your computer user manual for instructions on how to adjust color settings.
